Information about Sarah

I have graduated from Cambridge University (preclinical medicine) and UCL (clinical). I am now a junior doctor who will be starting surgical training next year.

All students I have mentored for medical school applications have attained a place at medical school including competitive colleges at Cambridge University.

I have been educated at The Holy Cross School (GCSEs) and The Lady Eleanor Holles School (A levels).

I am a hard working, motivated individual and I hope I can be of an example to my students. I love teaching as I feel privileged in knowing that I have made a difference.

Music is my serious hobby which I love. I have passed Grade 8 singing and Grade 5 theory with distinction. I have sung as a Choral Scholar at St Martin in the Fields, London and Clare College, Cambridge. I have also won several awards and competitions including the Charles Blackham recital at Cambridge University.

Availability: **Due to coronavirus all lessons will be carried out online**

I ask for flexibility and understanding due to the nature of my profession.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: I have more than 10 years experience as a private tutor (mathematics, music and science) KS2- GCSE and have also been a mentor to GCSE pupils teaching Maths and English language. I have worked for prestigious London tutoring companies.

I am also able to mentor medical school applicants. I can help with personal statements, oxbridge applications and interview practice. My previous mentees have attained places in Cambridge, Bristol and UCL to name a few.

My previous academic tutees have done extremely well:
some examples:

All pupils I mentored gained a medical school place, three of them being the university of Cambridge.
My 11 year old pupil got into all the 11+ schools she applied for
My GSCE pupil last year went from a borderline C/B in maths to achieving A* in her GCSEs. The same student also gained an A for music which she was extremely proud of, predicted a C previously.
