Born of Dutch parents in France, I obtained The International Option of the French baccalaureate (OIB) with highest honours (Mention Très Bien), a bilingual French-Dutch diploma of the ES Social Economics program, at The Lycée International in the suburbs of Paris.

I also passed the Cambridge CPE - Certificate of Proficiency in English, so I am fully trilingual in English, French and Dutch.

I then proceeded to study a BA (hons) in Drama at The University of Bristol (2:1) and won the Rapier Award for most promising talent going forth into a Postgraduate Acting Training.

I have just graduated from the 1 Year Diploma in Professional Acting at Drama Studio London and am a part of 1984 Personal Management, a cooperative agency for professional actors.

Experience: My approach to teaching stems from the experience that has come with learning not one but two additional languages, a process which focuses on as much practical conversation practice as studying the technical aspects such as grammar and vocabulary acquisition.
Teaching tutees to become independent learners and have critical thinking, assessment through games, encourage students to use their creative mind, analyzing sources of information, being friendly and using humour, requesting feedback.

Drama teacher for Dutch children in France at The Lycée International, exploration and analysis of the language, basic acting, movement and singing skills with creation of annual production.

I am currently rehearsing for a production of L`Ecole des Femmes by Molière with Lingua Franca Theatre, touring the play round schools in London for sixth form children who are learning French, to increase their awareness and understanding of the French language and broaden their interest to the classical strand.
