Im currently in my second year of Dental School at the University of Pennsylvania. During the quarantine, I have returned home to continuge my studies and would therefore like to continue my online tutoring services again.

I graduated from King`s College London in 2015, obtaining a BSc in Biomedical Sciences. During my free time I would like to offer my academic knowledge and guidance to students requiring tutoring in Maths, Biology & Chemistry as well as general science (including Physics GCSE).


Having had private tutoring myself, I really appreciated the one-to-one attention, which allowed me to fully grasp concepts and apply this knowledge. With this opportunity I felt my understanding was in greater depth, and I felt more confident when taking exams. As a result, I experienced a large boost in my examination results. As a tutor, I feel I can work with the individual, at his or her own pace and adapt to their unique way of learning. Such methods are overrun in a large classroom. I believe this investment will boost a pupil’s enthusiasm and genuine interest for a given subject.

I completed A-Level Maths & Biology with grade A and Chemistry B at St. Albans School.
I have 10 GCSE`s - 7A* (including Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and french) and 3 A`s

I am friendly and caring towards pupils, as I too understand the stress of school exams and the difficulty of not understanding difficult material! Only last year I was completing my final exams for graduation, and thus I can sympathise with strenuous revision. Therefore I would like to make challenging topics, more approachable and easier to understand for pupils, by providing a relaxed and enjoyable environment for learning.

Experience: At University I was a Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) mentor. I was assigned to 1st year biomedical students, where I would assist and guide them towards coping with difficult work load and adapting to new university life. Using my prior experience as a 1st year student, I provided them with support and advice for coursework deadlines, how to best prepare for exams and how to relax at stressful times! Such support included, weekly meetings, access to email me whenever they want, and PowerPoint presentations proving hints and tips.

I have extensive experience of interacting with the public and especially patients. I have volunteered at St Thomas` Hospital London.

Whilst I was doing my A Levels at St Albans School, I participated in the Gifted and Talented Mathematics Scheme. This was a program designed for primary school children who excel at mathematics. As an assistant, I would introduce and teach children new mathematical concepts, and provide guidance on how to approach challenging problems.
