My brother and I would like to continue learning French.

We had lessons when we lived temporarily in Brussels and have received lessons at home since the autumn with a teacher via Tutor Hunt.

Our tutor is emigrating but can help with a `handover`. She says we are both at year 8 level even though I am 10 and my brother Ralph is 8.

Here is what we`ve achieved so far:

The book used is Skoldo (Book One).

Content covered since October last year includes :

• greetings and titles, some classroom objects, asking and saying name, age and where I live, colours, numbers, clothes, food, animals, fruit and vegetables, parts of the body, hobbies, toys, country, beach, transport, home, likes and dislikes, expressing opinions, responding to and giving personal information.

• Grammar includes the use of noun and gender, definite, indefinite and partitive articles, singular and plural nouns, expressions of quantity, adjectives of colour and size, basic verb work with first and second subject pronouns and some basic interrogatives.

We would like to share one hour of tutoring on one evening each week in our house. Tuesdays or Thursdays are free for us, or possibly Mondays.
