I take a personalised and engaging approach to tutoring to ensure rapid and sustained progress. I have consistently been a highly successful tutor and have extensive experience as a GCSE and A level teacher and examiner. I work with exam boards through training and exam consultation.

As a classroom teacher I have achieved ALPS 1 & 2 in the last two years for students progress. ALPS 1 is within in the top 1% of the country for progress and ALPS 2 in the top 10% for progress.

I specialise in supporting students with essay writing technique, especially Yr 11 and 13 coursework and I have been involved in the planning and teaching of the 9-1 GCSE curriculum. I also tutor the IGCSE History and RS.

As an A level specialist in History, I am able to tutor an extensive range of specifications and topics

I have tutored and moderated the EPQ (extended project) and can offer tuition and guidance in this.
I able to provide intensive revision courses and can offer a discount for group lessons. Furthermore, I have experience in tutoring University Access courses and Adult Education.

I have been a qualified teacher for 15 years, a Head of History and Humanities and I am now an Advanced Skills Teacher at a High School in West London. Furthermore, I run the Outstanding Teacher Programme for the London West Alliance of schools.
