I`m currently a year 12 sixth former studying maths, biology, chemistry and computer science at the Judd School, Tonbridge. I came out of GCSEs with all 8s and 9s due to an excellent grasp of some of the best ways to prepare yourself for the GCSE exams. While I may lack depth in my subjects, I have a fresh and strong understanding of the layout and contents of the GCSE courses, especially in maths, biology, chemistry, German and computer science. My best subject is probably maths having been in the top set of one of the most prestigious boys grammar schools in the country and achieving the highest mark possible in the OCR Advanced Mathematics FSMQ course on top of an 8/A* in GCSE higher maths. Furthermore I raised my grades from a 5, 5, 6 and 7 in computer science, geography, biology and chemistry respectively, in my September mock exams, to strong 9s in all four for the final GCSE exams. Given a little bit of time, I believe I can help do the same for your child.

Experience: I have tutored on and off for the past 2 years and have also, on countless occasions, helped friends to understand and study for GCSEs both in and out of school. It`s not much but I believe my fresh experience of the GCSE exams gives me a major advantage over older, more experienced tutors since I understand and study for my subjects in a way that other GCSE students can relate with while older tutors would understand the subject in a way that is reinforced by decades of further knowledge which is inaccesible to students of this age.
