EXCELLENT TURNOVER RATE in getting students to perform well in their exams, from grades D/E to A. Looking to tutor students with difficulties in A-Level Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, 1st, 2nd, 3rd year Physics undergraduates.

My rates vary from £150 to £300, depending on where the tutor sessions will be held. Either at my office or in your home. It also depends on your school year, i.e. whether you are Year 7 or Year 13 or even at degree level.

Having obtained a 1st class MPhys degree in Physics, I am pleased to be able to help you become enthusiastic about the sciences. I am a tenured lecturer in Quantum Mechanics. And over the years, I`ve been teaching part-time to private students.

I am eager to teach KS3, A-levels and undergraduates and am very willing to travel upto 10 miles. I am also more than happy to tutor at my office in Mayfair, but if you have a preference for your home, then that`s not a problem too. I regularly teach students based in Mayfair, Knightsbridge, Kensington, Ealing & Weybridge Surrey.

I have a knack for teaching difficult concepts with a lot of patience and setting constant revision tests and help to motivate the student to organise a study plan in anticipation of their exams. This has served very well with students since I have been teaching since 2009, majority of my students obtain grades A or A* and that is why I charge £150 an hour!!

I am known to absolutely grill my students! But this is a win-win situation for you. If you are not exposed to exam questions early on, then you are not prepared for the exams.......simple. If you haven`t grasped the subjects early enough, then the student begins to panic by April.

And that is why I also organise intensive revision classes during the Christmas & Easter break. In those 2 weeks, we spend about 16 hours on each A-Level, and we also do exam questions. By the end of those 2 weeks, the student`s understanding of the subjects is greatly enhanced. I also give them a substantial revision workbook to practice with until the exams. This year, I am charging £1200 per week per A-Level.


Generally, I expose exam questions to students from Day 1!! It is paramount you complete every paper I set for you ON TIME! I am aware of school work, but this will teach you a thing or two about time management. Plus, your confidence and study skills will be boosted to prepare you for the future. I teach holistically, so yes, I care very much about my students` welfare (personal and academic). As a teacher, its is so important to connect with the students, and truly understand their dynamics. I also have revision techniques which greatly help you to grasp the subjects quicker and more efficiently. More about these during the sessions.

There is something else, which I pride myself on. Once in a while, I get a group of parents or students contacting me to teach upto 10 students at a time, e.g. during the Easter break. This is unlike your school classes. The classes that I conduct are very engaging, competitive, and its definitely not a one-way conversation. Every 15 mins during the class, I randomly ask students questions, to make sure they are on track. We cover the subjects in great detail and practice exam questions during each class, and I get the students to organise presentations in various science topics every few weeks. This will enhance their understanding of the subjects, presentation skills and confidence! I have deliberately kept the group small for obvious reasons.

- Creating a study plan and weekly goal list so that the student can organise their school work, homework, revision, sports and private tuition lessons. This is strictly monitored to ensure the student is upto date with work. This is my key goal......to get students into a disciplined routine.
