Information about Juliet
I am a mature lady who has a 2:1 BA (Hons) degree in Early Childhood Studies and an A level in English Literature. I work at a local university and currently run an Access to Social Sciences course. My teaching qualification and degree were both attained at the University of Warwick. I have been teaching since 2005 and personal tutoring for over 7 years. I have a friendly and caring manner and find that students like the way I approach the learning experience.
Availability: Some evenings and weekends - flexible
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I have been working as a personal tutor for over 7 years. The majority of my students are long-term and I find myself being employed to work with their brothers, sisters and friends. Most of my work is through personal recommendation. My main focus is for GCSE English and I am very familiar with the curriculum. I have a proven track record in developing students` abilities to achieve a higher grade than they have been predicted. I am also working with some students wanting tuition for the 11+.
