Information about Greg
Greg is a PhD student working on the design and coordination of the Understanding Neuroplasticity Induced by Tryptamines (UNITy) project. His work centres around establishing how psychiatric interventions modulate brain-network dynamics in naturalistic settings, and how these brain-alterations relate to behavioural change. In practice, his research focuses on developing new fMRI analysis techniques to characterise the mechanisms behind how the brain processes multiple timescales of information at once, while watching movies and while under the effects of general-anaesthetic and experimental psychiatric medications. Outside of his research interests, he is an active member of the drug harm reduction community and has worked with Psycare and The Loop to provide specialist welfare at music festivals and other live events.
