As well as training tactically for the exams (as needs must..) we use the content as a means to get better at the process of learning itself.

I want my graduates to be deadly on campus and in the workplace, both from their ability to methodically learn new skills, as well as make reasoned arguments with confidence. Of course I teach you to ace the exam (as that’s the deliverable), but in a way that’s more holistic and stimulating than merely that. If my student thinks “wow that was way better than school” then I’m on the right lines, and the grades predictably follow.
